Private Flu Vaccination

We recommend you consider getting a private flu vaccination if you don't qualify for an NHS vaccination but are:

Susceptible to colds and chest infections, are self employed and unable to afford time off work, would like to protect yourself from flu during peak season.

We charge £15 and the service it is available on a walk in basis without an appointment but please call the pharmacy first. Alternatively you can book an appointment online.

Private Covid Test

A private Covid test will confirm whether you are currently infected with COVID-19. If you need a test to prove you are fit to fly, most airlines will require this PCR test (rather than a 30-minute result test).

Please also bring your passport details to your appointment - these may need to be uploaded with your result.

This is a private (paid for) service for a PCR swab (nose/throat) test to confirm whether you are currently infected with COVID-19. You can carry out the test yourself at home or attend a pharmacy to have the sample taken. The sample will be sent to an approved laboratory for analysis, using a fast-track service. This means you will receive the result from the laboratory via secure email by the end of the next day. Call or Book Online.

You will also receive a travel certificate which you can use if required to confirm you are infection-free before you fly.
